I would recommend 0x0a -> University be reclassified as "place of education" that will cover the land area and leave building in the plot as 0x13. That will cut down too many subclassifications ie schools, collages, university and then private ...

I also do the same for rural polyclinics and medical facilities land area as 0x0b.

That I find easy for remembering by colours instead of trying to remember what the various colours refer to. #-o

The only issue that will arise for all this consolidation is should we need in the future to have a detail breakdown - then it will need sorting out now, but can still be resolved by using the same colour only different polygon no asignment. That you can see now used in the default rivers and lakes polygons.

My 2 cts worth.

1. Currently using 0x05 car park for badminton/basketball/etc court. Anyone using others skin? Quit worried later on need to do lots of editing if we all use different skin. :ko:
2. Some of the housing area already there physically but google map haven't updated yet, for this type of area, currently I plot the whole area with house skin. Acceptable? :-k

:tq:

Great to know that our way of choosing polygon type is inline. So less worried for me now. Thanks Bro. :D

Well noted, so for the whole villages we use 0x0003 rural housing area and individual house inside the area we use 0x0010 right? Thanks.

I also think so. 0x03 for housing area, 0x10 for house. Thanks bro. :D
