MFM-Papago release feedback

Dear Moderator,

I seem to have done something wrong.

After downloading your latest file i.e. C100415a and updating it into my Papago X5, when I start up my Papago, the Navigation map shows DKI JAKARTA, KOTA JAKARTA PUSAT instead of some place in KLCC as was previously displayed on my Papago with the earlier version I had in it i.e. C100218.

Please help as I am totally puzzled and do not know what I have done wrong. Also in the "Map Switch" under the "Advance settings" the default shows "navigasi.net v1.68" and the other option is "THAILAND-ENG-091112", this doesn't seem right, where is the option for Malaysia?????

Hi aireez88!

Please make sure that all 27 files are in the correct folder. They should be in the "Navi/Maps/mfm" folder.

I have apparently dump the C100415a files into a sub-folder under "Navi/Maps/mfm/mfm" folder and after I have moved it out from the sub-folder and into ""Navi/Maps/mfm" folder (as you suggest), it still defaults to some place in Indonesia. So what I did was get into the "Advance settings" again and in "Switch Maps", I now have an additional option called C100415 and when I select this, I am able to get back to the KLCC area default map, I think I am back on the right track now??!! Right????

Really hope some kind contributor can post some detail steps on how to update the map for iphone.
Or could it be because i'm using the malaysia/singapore papago instead of taiwan?

You will need to go into the filesystem of your iphone and go to the following folder

/var/mobile/Applications/XXXXXX/PPG!SGMYPRO.app/Navi/Maps/MFM

You will need to find out the exact folder for XXXXXX, you can either use the Unix find command when you SSH into the phone or you can use the latest iFunBox to do a search in /var/mobile/Applications for "SGMYPRO.app" and you will be able to find the MFM folder. Just replace the entire folder contents with the contents of the MFM you installed from the downloaded map from MFM. That's all

Finally got my IPHONE map updated and working.

Using ifunbox
Downloded map 100415
Deleted all old files in /var/mobile/Applications/XXXXXX/PPG!SGMYPRO.app/Navi/Maps/MFM
except Papago.dbp
Replaced the new files into the MFM folder exclude Papago.dbp
Change the standard.mb6 to Standard.mb6

If i replaced all the files downloded from 100415 and just dump into the folder the map wont work.

1) map wont even load after i launch papago....(works only after changing Standard.mb6)
2) Icons all missing (works only if i replaced back the orginal Papago.dbp file with the new ones)

Wonder if i'm correct??? But it works.
Noticed that the after updating the map, it took longer time to re-route.
Bros out there am i doing the correct thing???

Franky speaking, it is up to you. Your maps wasn't too old. but latest maps have more POIs and tracks being updated.
