Anyone has solar panel on their roof?
Few days back, I found a terrace house with meter, solar panel and inverter installed. Too bad I dont know the owner.

There are 2 different things to be considered :
1. Cost involved quite high for setup ( Solar Panel, Control Voltage System .. Battery based on how long per battery have back-up time)
2. Need backup power source like Generator. Let say Malaysia are in Wet condition and No Sunrise for 1 week. The solar can't charge the battery.

1) We can go for Feed in Tariff module (no battery required) and your house electricity strictly supply by TNB. The cost is RM10k/kW with solar panel, mounting, cables, inverter, meter and paper works.
2) No need backup power. House electricity supply continue supply as usual by TNB

I filed in application on 24 Sept to SEDA. Now waiting for review by SEDA
My application is 7kW retrofitted system with 30 panels and 2 inverters

Was your application cleared? You had big requirement!!
That was in Sept 2012, wonder how is the TNB payment to him.
I will put in my application next month, Jan 2014.

I am not sure it is worth investment or not? I have got it earlier..It is very expensive and output power is low.
