Anyway, I am using Nokia 5800XM and this problem doesn't arise.

Just use Assisted GPS should be OK. :rox:

what type of tracking are we talking about? :-?
1sec tracking, anyway... things cleared...
Hi Bro, MXT unable to record 1second track log. You need other Symbian software on 5800 in order to have 1 second track log, i.e. Nokia Sport Tracker, GPSCam, RaceChrono. Please refer HERE for more infor.
Ver. 2.6 is out already..http://www.tube5800.com/nokia-sports-tracker-application-updated-for-nokia-5800/

Download, run it and update it from within.

But I don't pay a single dime to the network. \:D/

Anyway, maybe my explanation is wrong but bottom line, I don't think we should pay anything to the telco for the GPS as it uses satellite rather than network from the telco.

You're only right if you remove the "A" from AGPS.

yeah the "A" part actually uses the phone's network if u are out of wifi area. if u use unlimited excess then u won't notice the charge. the "GPS" signal from satelite is indeed free
from Garmin Que for Pocket PC to Garmin Mobile XT for Windows Mobile to Nuvi 205W to Papago M9 for Android & now Garmin Nuvi 2576.
