vash_h wrote:the thing about nokia nowadays, its that with almost all new nokia phones, there will be tonnes of bugs.. it will take some firmware updates to iron the glitches out..

my n95 for instance.. was a pain in the ass initially.. but after 6 firmware updates, the phone bcame very stable and enjoyable to use..

thus.. bear with nokia for the time being. I am counting my lucky stars for not getting a faulty or encounter any problems so far..

It could be a bug in GMXT instead of Nokia. Or it could be due to the appz that we installed in our phones. I read somewhere that a guy with 5800 and GMXT di not have this app crash program with Turn Preview on regardless whether it's put horizontal or vertical.

So it's kinda hard to pinpoint the root cause..unless someone willing to re-format and re-install frm scratch.

Anyway, Turn Preview feature is not too important..we'd still be able to navigate anyway.

Cheers!!

From Garmin.com

Its about USD$99.90. There is a more expensive one USD$149.90 with Malaysia/Singapore map but.... *pfft*... who needs that when you've got mfm

Anyway for those of you still looking for tutorial how to install Garmin on the Nokia 5800 you can refer to my webbie in my sig.

Thanks a lot bro :tq:

I still have difficulty in getting the Virtual Keyboard from the pages listed here.
Only 2 things need to be done.

1) To install the Virtual Keyboard.
2) The installation does'nt recognise my Device ID (Is this my phone's IMEI?) so this resulted in the software not recognising my integrated GPS :frus: :ko:
