No. AFAIK, Nuvi 300s and 600s do not support custom keyboard and messages.

garmin nuvi is simply best GPS in the world..it doesn't easily make ur nuvi blow up or goes crazy..just simply try copy and paste into text folder and now u can experience the extraordinary keyboard... :peace: :peace: :peace:

i tried the gtt file but my keyboard layout is out of place..
Any sifu to help adjust it?

I downloaded the MFM_English.gtt (Nuvi 2x0W/2x5W or Nuvi 7xx) and Copy the MFM_English.gtt to my Nuvi 255W's Text folder.
Bravo, it works.

Thank you so much to antyong and the rest of you.. didn't know is possible to make changes to the keyboard.

I always have trouble using the original layout keyboard for my Nuvi 200, I am so used to computer keyboard "QWERTY"

This is my own custom keyboard layout for my Nuvi 200.

Due to Nuvi 200 is not wide screen, there is some limitation ;
1) The empty button is the "Space Bar" *
2) The nine "9" and zero "0" is at the last bottom row.

Mine is nuvi 260W. Ori keyboard layout is ABCDE (not qwerty)

Hi,
I've also got the lower case/higher case toggle button missing on my Nuvi 250. Its loaded with the latest patch for 1 sec tracking. Great keypad all the same!!! Thanks!!! :thumbsup:

Another interesting find....... the toggle button appears on the keyboard when I'm in the edit mode "change name" for my POI's. :-?
