for me, tablet should be small enough to be portable. so ipad mini is just the maximum size i'd carry with me. quite similar to your paper diary/organizer size. 10" is too big to be really portable. if i want 10" i'd buy a notebook instead. but of course everyone's taste is different :)

also, if i want 10" gadget, i'd wait for microsoft surface & see how it performs. i really like the design/concept.
