My 2575 camera is still behaving strangely... Turning it On seems to be like playing Russian Roulette, even when running, it will shut off (blank screen) and comes back on again... should have settle for a 1350... may ask for a warranty replacement if this continues...

It is better to ask for replacement before the unit reaches the dead end of the warranty period.

The spinning hour-glass happens once in a while. I switched it off and pull the plug out, then put it on again.. as you suggested: then everything works fine. I have not experienced the screen shutting down and up again.
