How many modes of transportation is available on the 2575RLM?

From the Main Screen:
If you press Tools >> Settings >> Navigation: TWO = Car OR Pedestrian
If you press the vehicle icon (top-left screen): THREE!
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

1. Got 3 preinstalled my/sg maps, how does the unit select which map to use if all are tick?

2. Free life map means only 4 auto updates per year. If we manually update more than 4 times, does the 'free map for life' status become void?

I think gmapprom.img (Garmin City Navigator) and gmapprom1.img (Malsingmaps) have priority over gmapsupp.img (MfM 2012.10). Suggest you have ONLY ONE of these 3 maps selected, otherwise it can get unstable during navigation.

I think what they mean is there will be most likely four City Navigator updated releases in a year. I don't think they actually count how many times you update the (same) City Navigator map (over and over again); correct me if I'm wrong.

The only difference between Car navigation and Truck navigation is the routing calculation will avoid the "No Truck" roads in Truck mode. Hence there is little need for a separate Truck area in Settings -- the Car settings will cover for the Truck mode as well.

AFAIK 'Free Lifetime Map' only refer to 3rd party map providers, in this case MFM and MSM which will be auto update thru myGarmin.

No, Lifetime refers to the City Navigator map. For example my 2465 does not have "Lifetime Maps" yet I can update MSM with every release.

Has anyone found a shorter way to enable 1-second tracking other than going to the Diagnostic Page?
