Bros..
I have got no problem with the new nuvi 2575R to read MfMaps.img file in micro_sd: /map directory. Thanks a lot for the tips. But I've got a problem to transfer favourites POIs from old device into the new nuvi 2575R.

I'd tried the old book method by first 'sucking' in all favourites POIs from old Nuvi into Mapsource. Then from Mapsource I transferred all those favourite POIs into 2575R via USB connection. Everything looks OK and considered 'done'. Unfortunately I can't find those favourites in the new 2575R. How come?

Need help.

Thanks and Regards.

Bro,
Where did u insert the sd card?
It must be inserted into the GD-R10 not into the 2575R sd slot.

I managed to use Mapsource to import the favorites from my Nuvi 360 and export them to my 2575R without any problem. Please check that you have ticked the relevant data for import and export.

Good luck!

Yes, it works after 'reboot'.... right?

BTW, is there any way to retrieve 'Trip Log' out of nuvi 2575?.

Problem solved guys!...I actually missconnected the camera to the GPS itself when I should've connect it to the "DVR IN" port at the mount...then only I could see the "driving recorder" function on the tools menu...sorry for the troubles! :peace:

You mean the active trip log that is logged by the device? :-k
If that is what you are looking for, the latest trip logs are in the Current.gpx file in the main device directory :/Garmin/GPX directory.

The older ones are in the "Archive" subdirectory of the same folder. :-$

Just open this files in Mapsource..
