You might refer to http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=931 WebUpdater for Windows software version 2.4.1 (assume that you are using Windows).

New extra data found on card.........

Postby 2uk3y » Tue Feb 10, 2009 7:23 pm

guys really2 need help here..... today i bought MicroSD card for my nuvi 205..... \:D/

so i already create Garmin folder, after that copy gmapsupp.img to that folder....

after turn on this msg appear...
"New extra data found on card. Would u like to install this data so that it will be available if the card is removed?" .... NO or YES... i select NO coz as far as i understand from that msg, data from sd card will copy to nuvi main memory. so i dont want that way.....

the problem is, everytime i turn on my nuvi, that msg appear again, again n again.... #-o

anything i got wrong.....is there anyway to disable this msg ??? [-o<

:tq:
