MFM-Garmin 110704 Feedback

Hello. Needs help on my Garmin 1300.
With MFM 110704 map, can i use mapsource to create 3 separate maps e.g one for Peninsular Malaysia, East Malaysia & Brunei Maps.
How can i store them into my MicroSD card so that when i switch on my GPS, I can then selective choose either one of the three maps to use.

I tried naming the three gmapsupp.img as gmapsupp1/2/3.imgs and saved under Garmin folder on my microSD card but my GPS unit wont detect the three different maps. Need your help. I know I can choose all the locations from MFM 110704 and save as one gmasupp.img file but appreciates your kind help if creating three separate files are possible.

Garmin only read gmapsupp.img file, u can't name to gmapsupp2/3/4.

if u really want, generate each map to gmapsupp.img den put into 3 different card can already.

Why do you want to split the MFM Map. It is fully integrated and you can use it without splitting the map into various regions, as suggested by you. Your GPS unit automatically detect your position whether in East Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and West Malaysia. Just load the entire MFM map into your Garmin Dir as "Gmapsupp" and it will work fine throughout Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
You are however not confined to one map such as Gmapsupp. Depending on your device your can have other maps loaded such as Gmapsup2 and Gmapprom. These are usually reserved for other maps such as Thailand, Taiwan, China, USA etc.
