I currently using mfm map(install on micro sd card) on my nuvi 2465, so far so good, been travel to few placeses working perfectly.

meaning we must using micro sd to save the map then open it by the gps will do?

any setting requried??

the main problem on Nuvi 4 digit (1xxxx, 2xxxx, 3xxxx) series is... not 100% compatible with old nuvi (3figit) format map.
the 4 digit nuvi firmware needs new NT format, whereas mfm's map compiled with 3'rd party cgpsmap compiler.

its not stable but can still be used

Been using MFM on my 3900. Initially got a lot of problems loading MFM but worked out the problems through Garmin firmware update and workaround with MFM map. Now quite stable. Got me everywhere I want to go and took me back home via MFM.

what is the work out that mentioned??? can share ???

Yes!

we should buy a micro sd card.
Then create a folder name "Map" at the sdcard. After that put the gmapsupp.img into the "Map" folder. Rename gmapsupp.img to mfm.img.

hi guys,

i'm having problems with my new 2465.

when i went to seremban on last 2 weeks, upon exiting the first seremban exit from kl all the roads suddenly disappeared. had to switch to the original garmin nt map.

i thought this was a map error so i download a newer version of mfm map but last sunday i went to seremban and the same thing happened again.

the strange thing is it only happen (so far) in seremban.

does anyone know how to correct this error?

btw i bought my 2465 for 547.

Does any guys know how to disable the irritating speeding tone? I couldn;t find the setting for this.
