Re: Sygic Mobile Maps for s60?
I have tried this myself on my nokia 6710N. This is a very stable and full of functionality software. Since GarminXT sometimes giving problem.
This software is smoother than GarminXT. More info showing on the screen. I like the function named Lane assistant. It will show you which lane u should take. Not like garminXT, it only ask u to turn left, turn left......and so on.
Regards,
Tom

Please read MFM's policy on the cooperation with navigation software companies: viewtopic.php?p=101261#p101261

You don't have to do that (and no need for an apology too), I was merely pointing out that MFM will only release a proprietary map when there is a cooperation with the navigation software company.

Re: Can malfreemap use for sygic mobile maps 10.
cecobis wrote:Hi everyone, can someone tell me that map from malfreemaps can use for sygic mobile maps 10.
for sygic or whatever navigation format, it's depend of our mapper/our mfm's chief to negotiated to them.
you can ask to our mapper or mfm's chief...
actually we have "map source" of asean (malaysia, singapore, brunei, thai, laos, vietnam etc..) and can compile it to "any" map format.. such as cygic, igo, ndrive, amigo, primo, tomtom, route66, etc.
the problem is, they just how to got the compiler.. and negotiate with those vendor..
yup, ideally mfm have compile to any map format,
so i think it would enrich of mfm it self...
so far mfm was support garmin map and papago map format only..
...maybe the -m'force'm- will be with you, always..

SYGIC for Android
Sygic is a relatively inexpensive GPS software for Android (also for iphone). I just purchased online the GPS software and Spore/Msia map for Euro 9.99. I have used the 7 day trial version and found it to be very good - more powerful than the more expensive and Chinese-centric Papago X5. The maps that come with it are very good as well (certainly not as detailed and uptodate as MFM), and has postal code search for Spore. Sygic is also more global than Papago. Now, if only MFM can be compiled to be compatible for use with Sygic; any chance of a collaboration - similar to Papago?
So Android owners - this is another alternative to Papago X5.

Re: SYGIC for Android
Sygic has a nicer UI and the maps are colourful and pretty but i guess the biggest advantage Papago has over Sygic is that u can get monthly updated maps from MFM. If i am not wrong, Sygic uses Tom Tom maps and there r no compatible MFM maps atm.
