Melaka Trip coming Sun 21st Dec - 22nd Dec

Hi, guys

I'm traveling over to Melaka this coming Sun for vacation.. \:D/
Will be staying 1 night in Hotel Equatorial..
This is my 1st time to be visit this historical city..
Will take photos and taste the yummy food in town.. :thumbsup:
I'm planning out my itinerary soon..
Gather alot of information has to sort them out slowly.. So many POIs and places-of-interest.. :ko:

just visited Malacca relying on mfm 1.24 and it did a good job getting me around. Some of the roads are still not shown but the main ones are there.

You must go to Auntie Lee's restaurant - probably the best Peranakan food in Melaka. Suggest you make booking and preorder; go there early too. Die-Die-Must-Try are: deep fried fish.

Try the chicken rice ball at N2 11.696 E102 14.909, have been eating in this stall for the past 30 years, this stall had been around since my father's times, i think at least 50 years of history, \:D/

Also must try the mee stall at N2 11.849 E102 15.068, only sell in the night.

If got time and space in your tummy, try this wanton mee at N2 11.799 E102 15.182, not the long hua resturan, is a very run down coffee shop, sold by a handicapped fat lady. :wink:

Sunday night still can go to the night market at N2 11.717 E102 14.881, look out for AMY YIP PAO.... :mrgreen:

I think only Makhota and the megamall opposite are the major shopping complex there, can try bunga raya for chinese new year decoration stuffs....cheap cheap and good good... :thumbsup: :mrgreen: , try walk kampong jawa, you find a lot historical stuffs there... :mrgreen:

Btw I found this shop 林三龙 Lam Sam Leong selling the Peranakan Bead sewn shoes in Jalan Hang Jebat (Jonker Walk)..
