UTM data for Series 60 platform devices that support Java Mobile Edition MIDP 2.0 and the JSR-179 API

Just to share with all. I tried installing this Java application into my N73, it works fine. It can pair without problem with the i-Blue 747.

Some nice features I can see at a glance:
- It can save trail logs to KML format (it will save, but I haven't personally tested moving around so not sure if the tracks will be saved properly).
- Can record what it called a "landmark" (POI actually), and the recorded landmarks can be exported to KML format (tested and proved).

The application can be downloaded for free here: http://utmdata.blogspot.com/

The package got the checked by customs mark, so I guess it's confirm no problem for it to come into Malaysia. Credit card charged a total of US$75.98 (RM274.08). Not yet tested, just opened the package. Will test it soon enough. \:D/

Waa.. more and more buying this iBlue thingy.. but hmm.. RM274.08 is a bit high from ebay. Did you bought from Uranium's UK listing? Mine is a bit low (as shown in my credit card transaction):

Currently, I can import tracks from the 747 using the GPS Photo Tagger software. Using the "Export Tracks" function to export it to GPX format, it will simply export tracks only. How do I go about to have it export the waypoints I marked using the 747 along with the tracks to a MapSource-compatible format?

I can't say much about the i-Blue 747, but I think it is very very similar to the Qstarz Q1000P. This can be used to log tracks at 5Hz and also as a BT receiver, which sends info to PDA's, smartphones, etc.

I bought the one stating "PPC PDA XDA" although I personally don't think there are different versions of 747 (don't see it at the manufacturer website). Perhaps can try contacting the store owner or manufacturer to reconfirm.
