Just curious. Wonder if we could submit POIs via SMS. Avoiding the hassle of going online.

Sorry, we don't have the proper facilities to accept POI submission via SMS :)

Can I suggest we have a topic/section for members to list down their trade/profession? Reason is for networking and/or assistance purposes. I remember sometime back someone ask if any members were in the interior decor trade, another time asking where to buy tar or something like that. If we have a member listing of trade/profession, interested members can PM them for assistance. If I am not mistaken, we have lawyers, aviation instructor, F1 driver (Bro Jerung :D :D ), Manga artist ( Bro Sulphur =D> =D> ), etc. What do you think?

MFM Who Am I

thanks for directing to the topic but looking through that one, it is 26 pages long and doesn't contain any reference to the particular member trade profession. I am thinking along something like this:-

1. <member's nickname>, <location>, <occupation/trade/profession>
2. <member's nickname>, <location>, <occupation/trade/profession>

example,

1. antyong, subang jaya, consultant
2. sharkteef, unknown, pam steysen attendan/F1 driver
3. nox, subang jaya, teacher
4. aikliang, Kulai, johor, shopping complex management

This way, members can have a one glance information instead of going through 26 pages of info. Anyway, I will leave it to bro antyong to decide if this is workable.

Anyway, the database will only be as good as the volunteered information from members. We can't point a gun to members' heads and say "Tell us your profession/trade or else..."

No. NNG, the developer of Igo8 software, does not release mapping tools to anybody. Igo8 maps will definitely not come from MFM :) Maybe it will be from the other community.
