Lata Kijang 4x4 track

divemuster wrote:Noticed that this track to the waterfall is disjointed and incomplete.

Pls include POIs for the kampungs in the vacinity:
N3.08853 E102.07603 <- Kg. Chennah
N3.14669 E102.02017 <- Kg. Esok
N3.12371 E101.95105 <- Kg. Genting Peras
N3.08189 E102.03968 <- Kg. Kongkoi
N3.18727 E101.98199 <- Kg. London
N3.05746 E102.11223 <- Kg. Temelang
N3.16142 E101.99411 <- Kg. Tohor

Pls upgrade the trail in from Kg. Tohor to Lata Kijang waterfall to road. Some parts of the road are actually tarred and can be accessed by sedan now but beware of the clearance to get over the unpaved road sections. I saw a Kancil and a Nissan 130Y going in! (Not recommended though).

Also included an alternative road in (marked in file as "alternative road") that bypasses Kg. Chennah. Again this is best taken with a 4x4. Lots of potholes and wornout sections.

You may also want to correct the description at N3.22708 E102.01258 from "G.Besar Hantu Summit" to "Gn Hantu Besar Summit" and perhaps describe the existing trail in the map to "Trail to Gn Hantu Besar".

I hope you can put it back in since it is even more popular now as it has changed from "Light N Easy" to "Medium Hardcore". Should you not have it I attach my not-so-good tracks from my archive. Best regards

Lata Berembun Water fall

Lata Berembun is suitable for first time trekkers and no technical climbing skills are required. It’s a good place for camping if you don’t mind the bumpy, adrenalin-pumping 4x4 ride. Jungle trekking comes free. It locate on the slope of Gunung Benom. It is only accessible by 4x4 that takes you past fruit orchards and plantations growing guava, durian and cocoa. At about 600m above sea level and mountainous surrounding, the air is fresh and water is icy cold, especially in the midnight, cold air sent a chill deep into our bones. Campfire at the night is the best.

We are possing at the jeep which brought us to the campsite

Camper was admiring the main fall (also known as 'Xiang Yang Hu' -facing sun lake or 'Xian Nu Hu' - fairy lake)
