Hi, GALACTIO Consultant.

I just bought my device Sensonic N580 few month ago. The map inside Navi/map folder is MFM v20111031. I wish to update the latest map "MFM-PPG-X8.5-X9-120503".
May i just download the "MFM-PPG-X8.5-X9-120503" and replace the old map?
Or i need to upgrade my software in Sensonic N580 first?

The software of Sensonic N580 GPS device use is "Galactio V8.7.0.0".

Any help will be appreciated.

You want to update papago map into galactio? Don't think thats possible.

As for Galactio, V8.8 is the latest s/ware. You should download that and update your device. Do check out - cms.galactio.com

I am a K-One N810 GPS user. By following guide on the Galactio website, I registered my device successfully and download the software that is needed for the update as well. However, the SD card that comes with the device is write-protected. I can’t get my version updated and also the map updated.

I tried using another SD card to manual insert the “Drive” folder in it. The Galactio boots successfully, but the Device ID is not recognized and it won’t let me using the GPS.

How can I do this right to get my version update and also map updated? Thanks.

Hi Choo Liang,

Unfortunately, there are no latest releases on M990+ yet as the traffic module onboard (TMC driver) is found not to be compatible with the latest version of Galactio software.

We will keep you informed once this issue is resolved.

Hi kali86,

The SD card that you have has a small latch at the side, which is likely to be set as write-protected. Once you set it back to write enable, you can perform updates onto your device.

You are also not allowed to use another SD card except the one that comes with the device.

I have a sensonic n520 running galactio v8.5... , is there a way to update the software to v8.8 without the use a cable? as i have lost the cable. Is it possible to update it via the memory card?
