Postby vash_h » Sun Oct 24, 2010 9:37 am

hey guys.. i have an idea.. why dont we put our travels, makan together and make a makan guide or travel guide ourselves? we can put photo, address, phone number, opening hours, some pics of the food we had.. into gpi format.. similar to garmin's own travel guides..

what do u guys think? anyone have anyidea how to make one? as i am interested to put some of my makan outings into the travel guide :)

We already have a similar thread discussing such POIs, but I think there are not yet compiled with the related data (pics, descriptions, etc.) into GPI: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=42

As for creating the cPOIs (c/w pics and info), you would need Mapsource and POI Loader, but for more extensive information, I'd recommend using TurboCCC Extra_POI_Editor as well.
I take everything in moderation, including moderation.
