What you get is a smaller file size, hopefully without any audible loss of sound quality.Notice that the Audio sample rate was different than what I previous thought was required (PCM 44.100kHz 16 Bit, Mono) it is: PCM 16kHz 16 Bit, Mono; and IT WORKED as a voice sound when tested with my nüvi.
