Without delaying much further I fire up my GPSMapEdit & open up 63008888.img & start drawing. Look at the picture below. :) . As the polygon type i choose Unknown(0x10, polygon) :-? Just follow sample in Subang jaya area. After that don't know what to do, getting blur now. :-?

calling 76gpsguy!

First get a mapedit. Understand the category types before drawing the polygons before asking bro anytong to assign your own personalize map id...For a start, please request area that you're familiar with..

Practice 1st in 63008888.img

poly types that mostly used in MFM
houses 0x10
condo/apartment 0x11
shops 0x08

How to do it
Go to Tool > Create object > Polyline then draw the specific polygon, then press right click and select END. Select your polygon type and press OK.

When its done it should look like pic attach below

If you need to test out in your device, just create your own img file in mapedit. Oh yeah, you need to purchase the license key for mapedit before doing it.

The (licensed) registered version of GPSMapEdit allows you to view Google Maps images direct from the internet in the background.

You can also load images as a reference background in the unregistered GPSMapEdit, but it's a tedious process.

Bro GHz,

Ok. When you open the img file. Click on it. It will be like grey out.

Just press the Delete key.

Rename the img file when you save. Else it will overwrite the file and you will need to reinstall the maps again.

I run ccleaner and also clear my Firefox private data (cache, history, etc). Now, it is okay already. Bro sunn is correct that Google is perhaps limiting the data transfer.

:peace:

Bro koi,

Glad to hear that all is well. Happy mapping :)
