For MP3 enabled Nuvi, use the same steps except for Step 3 and sox.exe is not required.

Step 3: Create your Voice Message
a. Create a MP3 file
b. Save as AnyName.mp3

Bro Zamad,
Can I create my own POI Alerts (for nuvi 2XX), in this case, as an example, embedding the doa recital into my POI, if I'm using UK map (and it's pre-loaded into the internal memory)? :tq: :tq: :tq:

Yes. The audio alert can be made using POILoader, with sox version 14.0.1. The instructions are in post #1.

hi, for nuvi 765, which format of doa to use... *.wav or *mp3....

Nuvi765 is MP3 capable, so use MP3 when compiling cPOI.

Make sure you use similar filename for both GPX and MP3 files, ie. ABC.GPX + ABC.MP3. Also, POI file size should be about the same size as MP3 (to reflect the inclusion of the MP3 file within POI). And as for Nuvi settings, if there is "Continuous-All Alerts" option in Proximity Points setting (Tools > Settings > Proximity Point), I think you also need to select that option.

Sorry, I would like to ask, how if I want to "update" the GDI file ? Example: remove some POI toll plaza that no longer exist ?

I manage to use some utility to convert the GDI file to CSV, and can see the GPS point and name. However, where is the wav file that suppose with the GDI file ? Where to set the distance of alert before reach the POI ?

If this is a sensitive topic, do PM me or I may be let the Mod or admin to update the Toll Plaza cPOI version 2010. :)
