i recently just got myself a second hand HTC Cruise 09. I've downloaded the free maps here into the phone and deleted the old maps that came with the phone (left 3 days trial). However after installing these free maps, it still tell me i have 15 days trial remaining ...

is this what it's supposed to be? That i still have to go online to buy something, or something's wrong with my installations? :-k :ko:

for your information Garmin Mobile Xt came in SD cards only, the one at your phone is for trial only, if you need working GMXT version try M3gps for info

I was facing this problem I solve this by install by map installer.
You cannot just copy and paste all program into your card that will not work.
Use map installer to install the program properly.
Remember to change your card name to SD before you can install it.

Pls check Your software either Custom Or Standard. By Choosing Wrong type of Map can make the software exit after loading start.

hi
Anyone can help me with Garmin installation on omnia 2. I have installed Garmin xt for Windows mobile and the maps. I keep getting the scanning message. I hope anyone out there can tell me what are the setting for the GPS in Omnia 2. The com port for the software and hardware and the baud rate. Appreciate any help. thanks.
