A screencapture from Garmin site has listed the G60 as 'discontinued'. Discontinued or not, I'm still using it coz it's reliable.

Understand that you also have the A10, right? I suppose A10 is much more stable and better than G60.. Any comment?

As far as stability goes, it's a non-issue for any of the two devices, when running Garmin-mfm maps. They had never crashed or hang... But if running Garmin mfm maps, I prefer the G60 because: it shows more POIs, and the CPOIs have audio.

On the other hand, the A10, being an Android smartphone, has more than the initial bundled apps. For the Garmin app, it can hold more than the traditional gmapsupp.img filename. I like this feature as I can choose which maps to run by just ticking my choice. Several GPS apps I have include the Papago X5 and MyTracks. The latter app is used for 1-sec logging if I do not have my 205W or Q1000P with me. But most of the time, it runs Papago X5 (side-by-side to the G60 when I'm driving). On the G60, you can only store and accumulate data as you cannot install any apps in it. For that matter, the 295W has the same behaviour and feature to the G60 except for the phone/sms features.

IMHO, if you're only interested in running Garmin maps, the G60 is better than the A10.
