PAPAGO! M9 for Android

Postby deathbringer » Sat Apr 07, 2012 12:12 pm

Has anyone tried Papago M9 with the new HTC One X? I was thinking of getting the software but I do not want to waste money if it is not compatible, especially resolution problems.

Thx.

From M3GPS:

m3gps wrote:At the moment it does not support 1280x720 exactly but the current M9 software is able to auto scale down 1 step to the nearest possible resolution. Therefore you will be using the 1024x600 screen at the moment. We've requested to add on this resolution and if you've already bought the software, we will definitely update for you.

I just got a One X and my old Papago M8 would not run because of resolution problems. No such problems with Sygic though (and I got a new activation code from Sygic without any problems).

I wrote to M3Asia and they have asked me to go to their Spore office to get a free upgrade from my M8 to the new M9. Then I will be able to tell how compatible is the new M9 to my HTC One X which has a resolution of 1280x720. I feel that is pretty good service from M3Asia.

Still pending the update on resolution file to properly support the HTC One-X. While the application can run, it doesn't go full screen, and alternating between the navigation screen and the menu screen causes a forced close/crash on the One-X. Opening the app again resumes where it was before. Annoying as heck.

No news from the M3Shoppe guys yet. Can't wait for the resolution update to come! :(
