how to download

this week i will fly to vietnam,and i need garmin maps, i notice the mfm change the server,but i do not know which one inculdes vietnam map and how to download it.

Plase take note..
As for Mfm map, we have lots of track contributor around West Malaysia and Singapore. With those track we came out with a 95% detail map.
Other area other than the said two area we have less detail map..

1- West Malaysia > 95%
2- Singapore > 95%
3- East Malaysia > 50%
4- Thailand > 15%
5- Vietnam > 3%
6- Laos > 1%
7- Combodia > 1%

Please feel free to contribute tracks to fill up the %%%%%

China Map is a BIG NO NO
I did that once in our MFM map, from Singapore to Kunming, China. And was told to take it out by the Contributor as it was against the China rules. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

china rules? cannot create 3rd party map with china government approval?

You are not allow to use gps in China. Few of our members had been stop by the China authority for using Gps in China.
Car set is ok but not handheld which are for tracking propose.

No tracking in China.

No tracking in China.

But, but how Garmin could have a officially map of china :lol:

if you get caught by roadblock in china then you should play mp3 in your GPS,
so that it is mistaken for officer think it is a mobile phone.. :finga:
