Launched today by Starhub.
http://www.starhub.com/mobile/handset/e ... black.html

S$148 for 3G SmartSurf 100 ($38/mth)
S$48 for 3G SmartSurf 300 ($58/mth)
S$0 for 3G SmartSurf 700 ($98/mth)

BTW, can anyone confirm if it runs Android 2.1? (Read some reviews earlier that it is on 1.6).

Thanks bro...yes, its running on 2.1 Eclair.

According to this Star | TechCentral bulletin, buyer needs to fork out additional RM249 for the car mount+charger? Is this true? :-k

Users can also opt for an optional RM249 car kit which comes with a car charger and a suction cup holder with a built-in speaker so you can get clearer and louder voice navigation instructions.

The Garmin Asus A10 comes with a 4GB eMMC card for extra storage. It has a recommended retail price of RM1,399.

Lowyat.net also quote the same thing, additional cost for the car kits

For those in Singapore looking at this phone, there is another option in the A50, which will be launched very shortly...

A bit strange that A10 was launched earlier than the A50, which was announced way much earlier.

But anyway, besides having a smaller screen, the A10 seems to be the better choice. O:)

Anyone here who has one care to share a review, especially if there is any problem loading the MFM maps.

If the A10 have same GPS firmware as the 3790T then you will have problem loading MFM.

Read about issues running MFM at 3790T thread viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8890
