jetlee1666, please don't spam the forum. Your queries will be replied to eventually. Also please give more information, like how you up-graded to M6.4 from M6.1

Can I ask if your M6.1 PAPAGO was purchased through iTunes and also your follow-up up-grade to M6.4. If they are, then by right, when you up-graded, everything would have been ported over and up-graded automatically.

I was using PAPAGO! M6 (Malaysia Singapore) on my iPhone 3GS earlier.
It works very well.

Today I installed the PAPAGO! M7 (Malaysia Singapore).
Will give it a try next morning to see if it works properly.

One thing I noticed...
The M6's IPA file is about 441MB in size.
But the M7's IPA is only 267MB!

So much different???

Hello everyone, I need some help here.

I have been reading through all pages and I can't find a solution.

I have just installed PPG M7.1 MY/SG on my iPhone 3GS.
I got it from a local iPhone discussion board.

I've changed the font to a big fat one and it's very nice!
Everything is working.

But the map it's running on is Malfreemaps.com 100415.
That is more than 6 months old and I guess we have some big changes to our road already.

So I try to update the map via SSH.
I got the MFM-PPG-C100716B.

I get only 27 files from my MFM-PPG-C100716B.
But in my iPhone var/mobile/#####/MFM, it has 29 files.

I've tried...
Replacing all the files.
Replacing all the files except MapAniPOI.
Change PSU to PSZ.
Change the papago and standard characters.
Set all permission to 0755.

But it just doesn't work. Whenever I try to launch PPG it just halt at the startup screen.

Can someone please tell me what I should try now?

Now I put back all the original files into the MFM folder and it works fine (with the 100415 map).

Oh ya, the files in my iPhone have names like R51_SSC.xxx but those from MFM-PPG-C100716B are like R21_MFM_SSC.xxx. I tried changing all to R51_SSC but no luck too.

Thanks in advance.

Since you did not purchase your PPGM7 from itunes, I suggest you go back to the forum where you downloaded from get and post your query there. In mfm, we only deal with official copies.

1st, are you turn on the location services? [Setting -> General -> Location services [turn on]

2nd, if you have data plan free, turn on mobile data and will speed up too.

Try go to an open area.
