MFM does contain parts of southern Thailand. Get it from our download section

Thailand map for Garmin devices

i just bought Garmin 255w preloaded with msm aeco set. can i disable msm map (not delete, coz this is my first time, i want try and experience msm map). but at the same time i need to use mfm for my thailand trip. basicly i want both the map. later i can switch. can i do that?

The easiest way is to load the MfM map into a SD card and select it in the GPS unit. You can leave the MSM map in the main memory.

The next method is to rename the MSM map and use its Filename for MFM.

what i do is follow the mfm map generator. then i create a folder name Garmin in the sd card. i disable msm map at tools>settings>map>map (untick msm my/sg/brunei and city navigator sg/my). i shutdown the garmin device then i insert the sd card. start the device but then nothing happen. mfm map not detected at tools>settings>map>map

do you put the gmapsupp.img inside your Sd card like these Garmin/gmapsupp.img ??

yes i did. is it possible that my sd card is broken? but then i can use it through my laptop

You should consider that your first attempt failure could be the result of an "improperly installed" or "corrupted" map set.

Re-do installation procedure and see if it works.
