How can I find maps for garmin mobile xt and any travel guide free available?

If I'm not mistaken, the Garmin NT maps of China will not alligned to the actual location using our set unless u are using Hardware purchased in China.

When I was there, I remembered the actual location is way ouit by atleast 100-200m from the acual location. If you have an Nokia Ovimaps preloaded, easier by using this maps currently it's free.

It is incorrect to say, Garmin map is useless. This is a Chinese government directive which all who want to do business ther have to comply.

I myself have a Taiwan born Nuvi which has firmware to correct the intentional map "offset"

Dec 2008. Well the offset still there from what I know. Anyway, Nokia Ovimaps still OK what..Free sumore.

i juz went shenzen in january. i go hk once or twice a year and i go macau only to hoot.
