Not quite sure how this information had been obtained but i certainly doubt that its the 3rd Highest. In elevation perhaps but as for the height of the falls I am certain it falls short when compared to the following:
Lata Kinjang (Tapah, Perak)
Rainbow Falls (Sg. Lembing, Pahang)
Lata Kijang (Jelebu, N.S)
Stong Waterfalls (Kelantan)

The four above are taller and those are in Peninsular Malaysia alone. Have not factored in those in Sabah, Sarawak and the neighboring countries in South East Asia yet.

Lata Kekabu (N5.05046 E100.94178)

This the 2nd waterfalls you won't miss along the no.76 road towards Lenggong, after Lata Perahu that's Lata Kekabu. This falls is located at the Hutan Lipur Lata Kekabu, It's very crowded during the weekend and public holiday. Sad that is the environment had been polluted by visitor's rubbish.

It has a clear signboard at the road entrance. The road lead to the park is tarred nicely and wide. Park your car at the car park and walk into the park. The stream can be seen soon on your right, there are picnic areas, huts for resting and wooden chalets. Concrete walking paths and bridges are constructed for easy walking between the tall trees.

Follow the concrete walking paths, soon you'll reach the 1st about 4m height falls with a deep pool. The path doesn't end here. Walk thru the suspension bridge, this will lead you to the 50m height main falls. The main falls is separated to two tiers. Bottom tier and the shallow pool is fun to dip in.

The upper pool basically is out of bounds, as it is in a water catchment area (gate has been destroyed by someone, i managed to go in and reach the dam). So you have to decide for yourself... It is possible to reach the top of main fall, and on your own risk.

this POI (N5.05161 E100.94395) should be 1st tier (not 3) . is that any meaning for this number 3? coz i found it's same problem at Pulai waterfall.

:tq:

Some POI can't have number in front... - OngCC
