if beach is all you must have, and prepared to pay the price for a local location?? Pagkor Laut - Emeral Bay is nice and quiet. If you consider the cost to travel overseas, might as well spoil yourself 7 star locally. Some do feel out of place here because most of its guest arrive in private helicopters and boats but heck, I went there on their shuttle ferry! The bathroom is open air though so be warned!

These places are very quite, so do not complain if you are the only one there and too quiet. It do have the reverse effect on some people because some cannot stay away from the concrete jungle and noise pollution for too long but complain when it has people around.

Try check this bro....quality of beach assure as P.Gaya,Manukan,Sapi,Mamutik in Sabah...and here ,no Kampung Air...thats meant no villager toilet on the water..
sometimes..some one might miss thinking of this issue..3 star resort available,no star resort available..depend on your budget.
remote area...most activities i can recommended for you here ..sport fishing,snorkeling...walk2 around...boating round d island..etc
distance from main land...estimated 1 hour 20 minutes by slow boat..30 minutes by speed boat ,no scheduled ferry, must arrange with resort / boat operator to get in here..more info kindly PM me..TQVM

In the East Coast of W Malaysia. From up north you get PCB where even the QE2 of England has stayed in Kota Bharu down to south of Johor's Desaru. There are good beach you can take your family to. IF you can give a little more insight as to your needs, it will help.. otherwise it is just fishing in the wild with no clear objective or direction. Even places like Marang or Pasir Panjang has some good nice beach with fair pricing. Tanjong Jara or Club Med if you want an exotic place and be prepared to dig really deep..
