But we have bad experience with Botak Jones staff

I hope we are referring to the same people, but the auntie & the young man (less) who came to make so much fuss were wearing the "2nd street" (or whatever the name of the entire foodcourt building was) uniform. They were not Botak Jones staff.

Just to clarify lah, in case people get the wrong impression.

The Food Court is run by a single owner under the name of 2nd Street Cafeteria. Botak Jones is just an anchor tenant.

Why worry about whatever negative comment the auntie and young worker had about us. Since bro singawon already mentioned earlier that the boss of the place was happy to have us having our GG there, we shouldn't be concerned about what the workers said about it. Just ignore them, lah, afterall, they are not the boss and their words don't carry much weight.

Suggestion for next GG :

Friday night 8 pm onwards (cooler and less of a rush).
Suggested place : Westcoast Mac with internet (Can get GPS signal outside the sitting area), somewhere in town CBD like Raffles place(no ERP after 8 pm), someone's office with air-con & internet(somebody volunteered his office space - hope the offer still stands ) , any other suggestions....
Suggested activities : for newbies : basics etc, for next level : mapping etc, oldies : .... any other suitable activities and of course, all the welcomes and hellos etc
Suggested payment for training : bring drinks and snacks to share all around (unless it is at MacDonald's - then we buy drinks & snacks for the coaches), any other freebies etc

Just my suggestions..feel free to edit, delete or add .

Yes my offer still stands; I occassionally have pot luck get-togethers in my office so no worries, just bring the food and drinks.

Parking: Free after 5pm along Dickson Road and lorry park (Upper Dickson Road), URA parking at Sim Lim Tower
Food within 50 meters: Thai, Zhi Char, Chicken Rice Ball, Prawn Noodle, Economy Rice, Beer
Comfortable Capacity: Max 80 pax
Facilities: 8Mbps Wifi, 1x open conference area, 8x workstation tables in 2 clusters, 2x breakout areas (1 with single couch, 1 with sofa)
