Bro Grouper, commercial walkie talkie like the Motorola you have operate in the 446.000 MHz to 446.100 MHz band. You only need to pair a set of units ( regardless of brand ) to a pre-determine identical frequency to use it.

In Malaysia, technically & legally, the US-set frequencies Motorola walkie-talkies are illegal (and any other walkie-talkies having FRS & GMRS frequencies) because the frequencies preset are not allowed under the COMMUNICATIONS AND MULTIMEDIA ACT 1998.

You can only use 477MHz Family Band - PRS Frequencies (a very short-range simplex radiocommunications service for recreational use). This is prescribed by the Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia under the COMMUNICATIONS AND MULTIMEDIA ACT 1998 - NOTIFICATION OF ISSUANCE OF CLASS ASSIGNMENTS (attached - go to Page 11 "Fifth Schedule - Class Assignment for Personal Radio Service Device" and look at Clause 2). You must read this in conjunction with Table D at Pages 17 - 18 to as to ensure that you do not run afoul of the law.

The FRS/GMRS walkie-talkies are fine if you are using for very short distant transmission in open area. If you are driving - you will find that at most, your effective transmission range is 500 metres or less (tried that on Karak Highway and from Pekan Bt 14 Ulu Langat to Pangsung). In jungle (moderately dense foliage, maybe 200 metres to 500 metre - tested along Gn Nuang trail). At open sea (from Port Klang Jetty) I hit 2km before.
