Welcome to the world of scope and bino
Which scope did you go for and how are the specs like? I currently have a 8-24x25 for general spotting and a 10x42 for more serious spotting. I also have a scope which my wife use for birding
Re: Any binocular user?
My scope ~ 20x50, bak 4 prism, Ruby coated lens..
Bins ~ 8x30, bk 7, fully multi coated, porro.. All china made.. As you can see, all things expensive in malaysia.. Cannot afford.. That's why the chinese brand.. Choose wisely & you'll be shock with their quality. Go for Nikula mostly as their optics is comparable to higher price one..

Do you have any deep space telescope, i.e Celestron or Meade.
I own Celestron First Scope, able to view moon of Jupiter.
