Nikon D300s is out in Malaysia. And D300 discontinue.
How much would be the price now for D300?
And how much is D300s would be?

Or would you prefer D700?

Can all the Camera Sifu give me some comment pls..

I am not very sure about Malaysia side but for SG, the price of D300s we got around 29-Aug is about S$2550.

For D300, I personally feel that the price should be somewhere around S$2100 max at this moment. Question is, whether are you still able to get a brand new set in the market?

As for which model to go for, it really depends on individual. I can tell you how good a particular model is but if it doesn't suits you, it is still pointless. Furthermore, I can't comment anything about the D700 since I never get a chance to play around with one till date. ](*,)

All in all, try playing around with it at the camera shop if you get a chance to find the one that really suits you need

D300s is out in Kuala Lumpur. I have not check the price yet. As for D300 price is around RM4500 body only.

I used Nikon D40x

full frame, but not many lens to play with..
Price around RM7900 :-k

I started with a D100, then a D200 and now am using a D300. I wouldn't go for a D300s but will wait for a D400 or whatever it is called when released. If I were you, I would wait too. If I can't wait, then it is better to spend less on a 2nd-hand D300 and wait. There is a lot to be gained from a completely new model. Of course if you are interested to buy my D100 or D200, we can talk about it.

I would not go the D700 route as I would then have to invest in a whole new range of lenses.

Yes, I waiting for D300 owners to upgrade to theirs to D700 or D3x, But still can't find any 2nd D300 with a super low price.

As for D400 or D500 need to wait for another 2 or 3 years. By then, one would eyeing for a upper model again... it will never stop...
