For the price tag and NO Garmin support it is not that useful to me. It is a good touch phone but I am looking at HTC Diamond2 or HTC Touch Pro2 (Both just released). They are not cheap but have got good touch feature. The Pro2 even has a folded Keyboard. Only thing is it is using WinMobile 6.1 and I had been informed that you can upgrade to v6.5 later. If v7.0 comes out it will be a fantastic phone. Most importantly is that it supports Garmin & MFM.

iPhone is also too costly to maintain. Subs is high and if you like the many programs offered, you can download and use but will have to pay & pay. There are of course some free programs too.

I have always enjoyed using WM phone. Now, using MIO A700 with Garmin Que 2.9, GPSProxy 2.2c2 and using combined MSM & MFM Maps. Works great and most important Garmin GPS and MFM Maps are supported and it is free even when you update. Try using the GPS in iPhone and you will have to pay and pay and also as you upgrade. Besides GPS you can do a great deal more if you use most of the windows features. Lots of programs and many are FOC. Hope the v7.0 comes out soon. Just my 2 cents worth. :)

the gps locator ripple in the map mode is really useful to show where you are while piloting in urban areas.
