Did anybody know how much is the Nikon D90 selling in singapore, plan to get 1 in may when i go there

When I'm in Penang, I always shop for cameras and photographic equipment at a shop here N5.41496 E100.32933

Ground floor Komtar, photo shop on the right as you enter through Penang Rd entrance into Komtar past the stairs. It's behind a jewellery shop.

Gives me good discount and very competitively priced.

Pretty sure last time I checked 2 yrs ago, prices in Mly were cheaper than Singapore due to exchange rate and definitely way cheaper than NZ!

Get the 18-200VR lens - it's awesome - very sharp and handy useful range. I have 6 -7 lenses but have this lens on my camera almost all the time now.

Have you considered the Fujifilm 200EXR or the Panasonic LX3? They are both relatively good for its size. The sensors, in terms of physical size (not megapixels) are pretty impressive hence better pics. I have the former, though I have to say that it is only a minor improvement (on the usability side) over the 31fd which I also have.

i can get D90 for RM3k nett body only.

forget the kit. useless lense and stupid tripod + bag not worth it. buy VR better.

Meanwhile Nikon has released a D5000!

Much cheaper than the D90 and sits between the D60 and D90 in their lineup. Improved firmware that has better noise reduction than even the D300!

D5000 cannot use VR lens and lacks alot of stuff. unless one intends not to upgrade further then ok lor.
