For info, I have used my 205w within Sarawak, within Sabah, from Sarawak to Brunei & within Australia without any problems. It seems to be unable to calculate route across the border to Sabah from either Sarawak or Brunei. Strange!

If it is the map, the error would have replicated with both devices I tested and without analyzing with your device physically, guess this is one for the X-files

I am using nuvi 710, map 20110926
I dun have problem routing from Miri Airport to KK Airport.
No problem routing from Miri Hopital to KK Hopital

Thanks for all your replies. I have tried latest MSM NT v5.29 map but still the same, cannot calculate route from Sarawak to Sabah vv. If any 205w owners reading this would be so kind, please try & let me know.

Where are all your IMG files located?

Let us know the name, and the location of each IMG file (SD card or internal memory? Which folder?) you can see in your 205W.

Have you removed the Australia map from your Nuvi and ALL other maps, leaving only the MFM map ... does the error occur ?

Then I can only think of the following possibilities:

1. One of the gmapbmap, gmapoem or gmapprom1 maps is interfering with the routing. Corrupted? I don't know...
2. Some avoidance has been set in the unit which prevents the routing to/from Sabah.

You have not been listening to me. Backup and Delete all the above mentioned in Main Memory.
Load the MFM gmapsupp.img into SD card/garmin. Slot the SD card into Nuvi and power up

Then try it and see if error occurs.
