Some POIs collected over the weekend at Parkway area and in the vicinity of CPF building and Anson road.

Point to note is the corrected location of Standard Chartered bank at Marine Parade.

Mods: Are we supposed to stop collecting POIs until the new map is out? Reason for asking since the exclusion of SG map from MFM, activity seemed to have died... :-'

Hi Eastmushu,
According to Antyong, fancheng is now helping OngCC to come up with the Singapore map. (See Subforum in community hull about status of singapore map.) So this activity is still going on. Hope we can get it by the next revision.

I think we should continue with POIs and Sotongkia is collecting them for implementation. Correct me if I am wrong bro Sotongkia.

Cheers

bro Eastmushu,
Sorry, gave you wong info about which subforum.
It is in the PROJECT ROOM forum.
- Status of SG Map: Remapping is progressing at good speed thanks to bro Fancheng's help. Not sure yet of re-release data.

Hope the above helps.

bro sotongkia,
Is it appropriate to have traffic light icons in singapore map? Or would it make a "mess" in the map when viewing; meaning too many traffic light icons within a small area. I use to count the number of traffic lights before a turn that i want to make.

Cheers

Bro colalite,

Thanks for the explanantion, although I am aware of it. Just that activities seemed to have grind to a halt, so I was wondering...

Hi All,

Activities are not halted.

While the SG map is being ironed out, I am still doing the POIs.
You all can still check with the previous 1.22 to see if your POIs are duplicated if you like.

If you guys can put details like address, telephone etc into the POI, that would ensure that the POIs are in the map faster.

Else I will be going through one by one to search for its details which will make it slower.

Thanks in advance !

Bro colalite, traffic lights are not the priority right now, but feel free to contribute, I will still queue them in my list. Though I will try to update other POIs first to make the map as updated as possible.

Bro sotongkia,

Noted than activities still ongoing. However didn't know we should include details in POI, just saw it today when I was looking back at 1.22 and noticed most POI submitted by myself has telephone number in them.

Will include them from now onwards. Will update the latest POIs submitted and re-upload.
