Seletar Golf Course should be renamed Seletar Country Club Golf Course.
Water features of Seletar Country Club Golf Course rather messy...light blue with irregular dark blue edges.

Jurong West Ave 2 Part 1 - No/Illegal U turns or not possible route

Please refer to attached file.

There are 2 U turn in Jurong West Ave 5 that is illegal and 1 route (actually a U turn) that is not possible. In part 2 I will show a legal U turn.

Cheers.

Jurong West Ave 2 Part 2
Attached legal U turn at Jurong West Ave 2 (b4 Corp Rd intersection). It has a ramp so U turning vehicles will not obstruct traffic)

All of the above done! 147 - OngCC

Was driving south along Farrer Road to get to Stirling Road.

The directions given simply imply go straight and then "Turn left" at Stirling Road itself (as per attached screenshot). However in fact, the driver should exit left at the junction some 700m earlier to use that "slip" road which leads to the traffic light junction at Commonwealth Road, instead of driving straight to use the underpass. (I made that mistake first time round and had to make a detour).

Did an experiment to “test” Jalan Serene (earlier up the road). Likewise, to access Jalan Serene, should keep left and use that road which leads to the traffic light junction at Dunearn Road (instead of going straight and use the flyover).

Drivers who are familiar with the road will have no problem. However, those who are not will have to figure out to go left or go right at the Y-junctions.

Just like to feedback this to you... hope you can make the map smarter!

:tq:

Are you sure it ask you to left turn from the underpass? Can verify again? - OngCC

Confirm - I tried several times. Likewise with some other POIs immediately after the road junctions along the entire Farrer Road/Adam Road stretch (eg. like Serene Centre mentioned earlier). The GPS is NOT able to pin-point if I am driving along the underpass/viaduct or on the slip road.

Actually the problem is not so much that it prompted me to turn left while I am in the underpass. Rather, that the navigation did not prompt me to keep right or keep left at the Y-junction several hundred metres earlier. Technically speaking, I am still going "straight" either way. I may be wrong, but I suspect this is because the underpass/viaduct by-passes currently shares the same road name as the slip road. Perhaps you can consider labeling the slip road as "ramp", or label the underpass/viaduct according to its actual name given by SLA (eg. Farrer Flyover, Farrer Underpass, Queensway Underpass, etc.) Personally I think the latter is better, but up to you.

Thanks bro.

No U-turn at junction of Lor 6 Toa Payoh with Lor 4.

Legal U-turn allowed further along Lor 6 Toa Payoh but routing shown to enter alley leading to SAFRA and exit in order to U-turn. Can simply U-turn here or right turn into SAFRA.
