MFMv1.xx Installation Step by Step Guide

i installed the MFM1.70 with the map. i can search POI but when i view in Map View . Most of the restaurant POI are hidden. I tried to set to POI most show, But restaurant POI still cannot be view in map... Plz Help!!!

Did you zoom in ? POI shows at higher magnifications only ...

Just like lot of thing hav been filtered. I install MFM 1.70 with Full custom,Road POI and Full custom POI.

I would remove all the 9 files and have only your GPI file in the F and Nuvi. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hi DVpro,

Test it out along NKEV from Shah Alam to Kota D'sara. The speed alert (on the top - green band) of 110km/hr was seen 2.8km from the point. Could not hear the beep (maybe it's my hearing problem). If available, I would prefer the grey band on the left with a loud sound alert. Pls advice.

No luck. no matter I install the files into POI. I just want the grey band and sound to alert me in the highway as I travel a lot on the highway.

Example in Penang, Jln Macalister and Jln Anson, there hav to of famous food place locate at the map source but din show at the garmin XT 5.02 in map view. but it can search but using POI search.

This is just the setting for the label part of POI, even if it's set not to show, POI icon should still be visible.

But i still cannot view the POI food place at map!!

I've verified with the same version of GMXT WM v5.00.20 and using the same MFM v1.70 map, and I was unable to replicate the same issue faced. Even with disabling MFM POI v1.70 and setting Map Detail to Least, the said POIs are visible up to 120m of zoom. Anyway, I'd suggest you to try using latest MFM and see how it goes.
