Custom messages & keyboard layout for various Nuvis

Hello all gurus... just notice mine also don;t have the button to toggle upper/lower case. Not very sure and suspect this happen after attempted to upgrade 200w to 205w firmware but failed.

Anyone help will be much appreciated.

That button is available if you are trying to edit a favourite but not on the page where you spell city names/country names for example.

Because at these pages you don't change the case.

Wow!!! Just downloaded to my 205W. Works fine. Now I don't have to press between Qwerty anymore.

What does it takes to download this, tells me I am unauthorised to download, why?? Thought this is a Free public download area. anyway, as you can see, I am a registered member.

My Nuvi 205 went dead after installing the latest mfm map & mfm keyboard. can't power up. not sure if it is related to the new files. anyone with similar problems?

got it sorted. found the soft reset method online.

"Press down on bottom right corner of the touchscreen, and then power on the GPS unit."

removed the microsd card before soft reset the nuvi. reinstalled the map on the microsd & the nuvi worked again. must have been the corrupted file installed earlier.
