Nuvi 255W local version do not need to patch.

It's already there...

Just look at Bro John Tan's post regarding which area to press....

Basically so long at you press at the corner of the 4 corners...it should works...confirmed. I've tried it...

How do we increase the accuracy of the tracking? Is it possible? Does it depends on the type and model of our GPS unit?
eg
Setting the navigation to "Pedestrian" or "Bicycle" mode?
Driving in the middle of the road?
Driving very2 slowly?
Repeat the same tracks several times?
Ensure full satellite reception achieved?

I've replied to you here -- tympg

My Garmin N205 has unit ID 1074 is it possible to patch this.

I do not find gps.bin anywhere on unit. I can enable track log but only find traffic.bin nav.bin

My software is version 6.1 top of diagnostics page is Nuvi 2 series S1 V3 1GB. Is there any other information that may help?

TIA

Geoff

Have you tried activating the track log feature using the easter egg method? You can read on how to do it here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3929

From bro jasonLee's post (1st post on this thread), hardware ID0870 is supported, I'm not so sure whether the patch will work with HWID1069. You must now be very aware of the risks that involves flashing of hour PND. There have been cases where it went into a coma, or died an instant death. Try the easter egg method first. If you do not succeed the first time, try again, i.e. get out of the 'where am I' screen first, then redo your four finger salute. Hope it works for the HWID 1069.
