How to patch N2x0W/2x5W/7x0/7x5 to enable 1-sec tracklog

Hi bro, i have patched my Garmin 255 US, and i can access to the hiden tracklog menu, i have try out this function by press start recording and then stop when im done, but i couldnt find out the logs folder under Garmin main folder and i have try to create the folder manualy and retry recording, but my Garmin still cannot save the tracklog...any step im miss out...

P:S/ im not using SD card.

Hi Bro lcs1788,

I am assuming that you have used the correct patch for your HWID. Could you have selected the patch that writes the Logs to the SD card and since you don't have an SD card, they could have been written to thin air. Otherwise, if correctly patched, the Logs folder is automatically created and there is nothing you need to do except to copy/move the logs to your PC for conversion to gpx files.

i'm using nuvi 255w(us). same prob that i can do record but cannot play that file i have record. Did i have to revert downgrade my version ? If i follow what jasonlee told on page 1..if i do 1 mistake did my nuvi will damage or what..? pls need advise here...

do you see any files being created in the "log/timestamp" folder?
you may check the "debug" folder in your garmin unit to see if the gps.bin is being created.

Debug folder only got one xml file...

Ok, i will retry, i've donwloaded the patch for HWID 0827 now, and i can see there is two patches within a zip (sd and int), the zip i try previously only sd... this could be i been used wrong patch.
