installed patch. but

viewed in mapsource 6.15.11 at 200m , the minor roads in bishan do not show up, other areas are ok.

viewed at 150m everything normal.

It is not only Bishan, the fault extends almost half Singapore.

See attach screen shot. The affected areas are the light green portion.

At first, it seemed like the patch was not fixing the bug completely in v6.15.11, with some areas still overlapped by polygons at certain zoom levels. However, after Map Detail was changed, somehow it became fine with roads displaying correctly above polygons (also tried exiting and re-starting Mapsource and all seemed fine already). Maybe you guys can try it out. BTW, no such issues in my v6.13.7.

No, that option is for devices that were previously having an issue with displaying custom icons, ie. Nuvi 765, 1350, 1460, etc.

thanks bro dvpro, however, if i still select it, will there be any problems of overlapping poi icons in nuvi 205..sorry, cause i don't have my nuvi with me now.

Sorry, I have no idea. Maybe you can tell us later when you try it on your 205.

that patch fix, just fix road to be seeing but custom icon is not there. Kuala Ketil, Kedah user

The patch is for fixing these issues:
1. In Mapsource, polygons overlapping roads in certain areas.
2. In device, custom icons are not displayed in Nuvi765, Nuvi1350, Nuvi1460, etc.

So, what actually is the issue you are referring to in your post above?

Can you test and confirm if there's a slight lag at junctions/intersections with a Nuvi? I'm still getting [Searching...] when i do a [Where am I?] at the [Nearest Junction] screen. in fact, after 5 mins, my GMXT is still searching for junctions/intersection even though there's one less than 100mtrs near me.

Tested Where Am I? > Nearest Intersection in GMXT and Nuvi710. And the results were obtained under 5 seconds (in GMXT) and instantaneous (in Nuvi710). The intersection is about 200meters from my location. Map used is MFM 100301.

The patch solve the custom poi problem, still some of the custom POI not appear in my 765.
In mapsource can be view but in my 765 not appear. Please refer to the photo below:
The ESSO icon is invisible in PND.

Did you select the option to "enable custom icon display for Nuvi 765..." when generating map? And are you certain that the map installed in Nuvi is the one generated with the above option?

can show:
esso petrol station
7-11
pbb bank

can't show:
petronas
grand union supermarket
traffic light icon

Bro dvpro, on my 765, I am getting also what Allyda gets on his 765 except for that mine doesn't display both the Petronas and Esso icons. The supermarket shows. On mapsource, they are there.
