hi desny ...
You can download the latest Garmin map at http://mlkstd.mmu.edu.my/~v1112220/index.php?dir=Garmin. For ready to use gmapsupp.img map file, you can download it at http://www.mediafire.com/?aegmgorwo0j.

Our Garmin device unable to update map by itself. We have to download the gmapsupp.img (garmin map) and put it into our device by replace the existing file...

Polygons are those colored and patterned areas in the map depicting buildings, areas, etc.

desny wrote:if without polygon wat will happend??

If the option to exclude polygon is selected, most of these polygons would not show up in the map, like the pic below.

And this is how the map would look like if polygon is included.

polygon is color. if u add polygon it will make the map more beautiful, more colorful, tasik and lakes are blue in color. grass and palm tree also can see as greenish with some marks.
is all about being beautiful.

MFM-Garmin 100201 problem

This map MFM-Garmin 100201 still has the problem of last mapset MFM-Garmin 100125 in that it cannot be merged with MFM-SRTMWM to one file. When merged, the roads are not visible in device but road names are visible.

Right now I don't have any Garmin devices to verify, but when I combined MFM map with MFM topo map and use it in GMXT, everything seems fine. Anyway, how was the combined map generated and which device are you using to view the map?

I just tested in GMXT and the map appears ok as well. (But why have 2 Mfm Poi 100201 listed under "map sets, mapSource" menu? curious :-? ) The garmin model i have is Nuvi 765 and i have used both the setup programs and GmapTool to combine the maps with same results. However if i untick Mfm-Srtm in the device, then the roads will appear fine. Also, i dont think the reason is system lag because i leave the PND on for more than 5 minutes for the roads to appear without success.

Were you able to use the combined topo and road map successfully in your Nuvi765 with any previous versions of MFM then?

There's only 1 POI map listed there (this is MFM POIs map), the other is MFM main map.

Sorry i was referring to my own GMXT where there appears 2 Mfm Poi 100201. (Also appears in my nuvi 765.) Could it be one of it is for the new Business POI, which option i selected during setup?
