Hey guys...from Penang here. The map doesn't seem to recognise the new Penang Bridge and did not route me correctly in that region.

The Garmin GPS routing engine will calculate and recommend going through the first bridge (ie. the faster route) when travelling between the mainland and much of the island.
The only time I found the GPS software recommending going through the 2nd bridge is if your startpoint or endpoint is Bayan Lepas/Batu Maung/Balik Pulau* area.
*But not always.

even though I am at Bkt Tambun and going to Sg Ara for example, it still give me 1st bridge if i choose fastest route. Only it will change to 2nd bridge if i choose shortest route. But the reality is 2nd bridge is faster, only more expensive.
