By checking "Exclude colored polygons" I'm still getting polygons on my Garmin GPS devices.
Example...look at the attached jpg screenshot from Mapsource. I am seeing the same polygons (the grey blocks) on my Garmin GPS devices.

In my opinions, these polygons should be excluded when generating the lite version...but the mod seems to say that certain polygons will not be excluded. Are these small grey building block polygons meant to be included even in lite version? Or it's a bug on mfm?

I have used mfm for many years. I remembered that in the past, when polygons are excluded, these small building block polygons are excluded.

It is depends on individual mappers for what type of polygons are include/exclude in the lite version.
